Day 8 and Day 9 1/10/12-1/11/11

Today, in math I corrected a different person's quiz with a pen. When you write with ink on paper, the ink and paper go together to make a chemical reaction so that you can't erase it. Some special inks allow a short period where you can erase some inks, but most inks dry and can't be erased; they have bounded with the paper. I got a detention in Study hall for sitting in the wrong seat. It dawned in me that it connected with government because there are rules you have to follow and if you don't you have to pay the consequences. In study hall when I was sitting in the wrong seat it was, I guess, against the rules so I had to pay the consequence with a 20 minuet detention. After school, I went to the gas station and bought a soda. It relates to government because I have to pay sales tax which goes to the government. Also after I'm done using the bottle I would have to recycle it.

Day 9

Today, while I was talking to my mom she corrected my grammar. It reminded me of all the things we were taught in English and how I need make sense while I talk. Also every time I write a paper or while I'm talking, I feel like I have to always add commas or I always think of where I can add them. When my dad pciked me up from Pom practice he explained to me how a car's engine relies on a chemical reaction which occurs between the gasoline and the Oxygen gas in the air. This is when heat is released and allows energy to be extracted from the chemicals in order to move the vehicles.
